My likes:I like to go to the Polish Fest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I like pizza from Al's in Berwyn with cheese and sausage, jello, Polish food, Family Ties and the White Sox on TV, sports and getting a paycheck. My story:My mom and my sister, my dad and my step mom, my friend Tom, Mary Jo and Stacy are important people in my life. Going to restaurants is one aspect of being part of the community that I enjoy. I attend Helping Hand Rehabilitation Center and participate in Pathways to Self-Advocacy. My goal was leadership and I got to present to the Employer Advisory Board last March. I was proud, and I got to speak about my goal on the microphone. LifeMyWay means:It's speaking up. My Pathways program helped me have the courage to speak on the microphone! My dreams:I want to make more money! I want to help others learn to speak up for themselves. My Pathways leaders Christine and Julie helped me learn to speak up for my rights. My video:My photos: |
