Why I advocate:

I am a parent of three wonderful adult children. I want all of them to have opportunities for life-long learning, employments, many friendships, family, and to make contributions to their communities. For two of my children, I have little concern that they will be able to achieve that, but my daughter with a disability needs help. She needs help in changing the system to provide supports that permit her to have a good quality of life. She needs people in her community, state, country and world that understands the humanity, the value and the potential contribution of every person no matter what their needs.
