My story:I am currently a student at Harold Washingington College and pursuing a career in Speech Communication. I started getting Access Living at the age of 15 with "Empower Fe Fe," a social women support group. I did the filming and interviewing for 5 documentaries including "Doing it" and "Beyond Disability- the Fe Fe Story" which won the Democracy in Action Award. Why I advocate:One person can make a difference and they could also inspire others to make a difference. My dreams:Living on my own, graduating college, having children and getting married. |
