My story:I am 76 years old. My birthday is November the 8th. I lived in Bridgeport and Mayor Daley lived down the street. I am 100% Lithuanian and went to Holy Name Church. Church is always important to me; it’s the main thing. I like to draw and paint. My grandmother said I would be an artist. I draw things that are in the room and things that are outside. The number four is my favorite number…it’s a winner! I like horticulture and I work in the greenhouse here [at Bethshan]. I don’t smoke, drink, gamble, swear or drive a car. Why I advocate:I pray for myself and for all those that need it. LifeMyWay means:To be friendly and to work on your own for the rest of your life and to always stick to it. Don’t let go. My dreams:I like to work in Horticulture. I would like to grow trees. I would like to grow trees like those at the Morton Arboretum. Also, I would like to be a designer and arrange things and go downtown to the Art Institute. I wanted to get married once when I was very young. My photos: |
